This image was made for the base of my collage's Grad Show poster. I was told the name and had to come up with an image that I thought would fit the title "Making Waves" other then the most obvious choise of wavey water. So I decided to make the image more in the line of energy waves. Even though the final poster image was edited by the graphic designer, I was still very happy to have my work be the frontliner in the show.

Took a few lights with colored gels taped on them, set my camera on a long shutter speed, turned out all the lights and acted out a repetitive movement. Most my pictures like this are just a force of luck, I used to go though 2 or 3 rolls of film for maybe 2 or 3 images, now I got it down to 1.
